Dunaway led the planning team in preparing a citywide trails master plan. The purpose of the master plan was to study the feasibility of a trails network across the entire City of Wylie. In creating a balanced approach to connectivity for the city, the visionary master plan addresses a range of trail opportunities including trails along roadways and parkways; trails along drainage corridors and utility corridors; trails along the frontage of Lake Lavon and Lake Hubbard; and trail access points at major intersections and developments. The master plan for the city outlines over 60 miles of trail development with recommendations for location, length, materials, and cost.
