The Lawn at the Lakefront

Dunaway worked with the Town of Little Elm on a new destination park for their Lakefront District. The Lawn at the Lakefront is a central park at the heart of the district and vital part of the community for signature events. Adjacent residential, retail businesses, and Tin Man entertainment venue provides an active backdrop to the park’s grand lawn, performance pavilion, signature playground and water play, and passive shaded grove. The design incorporates existing mature trees, a pedestrian neighborhood connection, interactive lighting displays, and unique architectural features honoring the adjacent historic “Tin Man” water tower.
