Texas Surgery Center

Texas Surgery Center, located in Midland, Texas involved the renovation of an existing Ambulatory Surgery Center and construction of a new Medical Office Building. Dunaway provided planning + landscape architecture services on the project which required the landscape architects to merge existing landscape with the proposed landscape while providing healthcare amenities on a highly trafficked site within a Planned Use District.  

The design team created an outdoor physical therapy space, entry features, and site drainage strategies that use an innovative palette of local materials while focusing on therapeutic views from waiting rooms and patient care areas.
