Lucinda Cannady, a graduate of the University of Houston, serves as a Line of Business Coordinator for Dunaway’s Structural Engineering department in the Austin office. Her experience includes office management, event planning, accounting, and human resources. She looks forward to continuing her career at Dunaway.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I recently moved back to Texas after a jaunt in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I love hiking, backpacking, camping, and fishing. Now that I am back in Texas I cannot wait to go fishing in the Gulf and in other regions around Texas!
Where is your favorite place in the world?
I love the out-islands of the Bahamas. It offers some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and is a great place to fish! The food and culture are also very welcoming.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
My son. He is funny, smart, and motivated and I am proud of all of his accomplishments.
What was your first job?
My grandfather owned a car dealership in North Texas. During the summers, when I was a kid, I would go to work with him and answer phones. Those were the days when there was way too much paperwork and humans who actually answered the phone!
