Dunaway led the multidisciplinary design for the Campion Trail Unification Project, which completes the missing six-mile link between the Elm Fork and West Fork of the Trinity River. This connection finalizes the originally envisioned 22-mile trail system, enhancing one of the DFW region’s most popular corridors. The project includes low-water crossings, major pedestrian bridges, and themed trailhead amenities, all developed in coordination with multiple agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and TxDOT. Working closely with the City of Irving, Dunaway implemented a strategic phasing plan dividing the six-mile segment into three parts to accelerate design, permitting, and construction.
