Jessica Powers is a committed professional at Dunaway, whose career, though not directly linked to planning, resonates with its core in research and development support. Her lifelong fascination with maps and the built environment, sparked by childhood explorations, led her to pursue Geography and GIS at Austin Community College and further her education in Urban Planning/Geography at Arizona State online. Jessica’s technical journey includes roles as a CAD technician at Halff, where she honed her skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and as an Architectural Services Coordinator for an HOA, overseeing compliance for home constructions and modifications. In her current role as a Permit Processor, she utilizes her background to facilitate smooth project submissions and provides the engineering team with vital research. Although new to this role and without a specific specialty, her extensive experience with Land Development and Survey plans, augmented by her Urban Planning studies, grants her a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of development and the requisite community or government interactions, rendering her an invaluable contributor to any project.
