Residents and visitors alike are excited about a new addition to Beard Park in Little Elm, Texas. Nestled in the wooded edges of Lake Lewisville, this destination playground —complete with a reconstructed historic log cabin—celebrates the community’s rural heritage. Reflecting on the Town’s “Family Tree,” the branching sidewalks mimic a trunk and limbs while raised planters and patterns in the artificial turf portray canopy and leaf shapes. Town Staff worked closely with Dunaway’s planning + landscape architecture Team from early conceptual design throughout construction to bring this vision to reality for the next generation of park users in Little Elm to enjoy.
