Carrollton Trails Master Plan

Building on the Parks and Open Space Master Plan, Dunaway developed a bold new Trails Master Plan for the City of Carrollton. With the city nearing build-out and surrounded by dense DFW communities, the plan focuses on enhancing trail and bike connectivity for residents and visitors. It introduces safe, expanded access across major highways, links to regional trail systems, and connections to natural assets like the Trinity River Paddling Trail. The plan also supports economic growth in key areas such as Historic Downtown and DART transit hubs. Backed by design guidelines and funding strategies, it positions Carrollton as a vibrant, active community in the heart of North Texas.
