Dunaway provided design and planning for the new Cook Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) campus in Prosper, Texas. This campus is the first hospital CCMC has built outside of its flagship campus in Fort Worth and will serve to support families in Collin County, one of the fastest-growing counties in the country.

Our team assisted in conceptual planning and discussions with the Town of Prosper for phased development of this north campus. The first building constructed was a 15,000 square-foot urgent care and primary care building. The second building was a 103,000-square-foot medical office, ambulatory surgery center, and imaging center. In total, the campus includes a 20-bed capacity emergency department, a 10-bed pediatric ICU, operating and procedure rooms, a medical/surgical unit, an outpatient infusion center, imaging services, a retail pharmacy, laboratory services, and pharmacy services.

Dunaway provided survey, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and structural engineering services for this project. Our services also included construction and coordination with TxDOT and the design of new infrastructure for the project.
