CCMC – Rosedale Office Building and Parking Garage

Dunaway was responsible land surveying services including topographic surveys, platting, and easements for the construction of a 125,000-square-foot Cook Children’s Health Care System Professional Office Building and six-story parking garage. Dunaway also provided structural and civil design services including site grading, drainage, paving and public utilities. Other key tasks included traffic engineering, landscape and irrigation design, and environmental (SWPPP) services. The facility, located at Rosedale and 7th Avenue, houses all 400 medical center administrative staff. The assignment utilized an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach for team organization; the approach efficiently managed costs, improved productivity and achieved “lean construction.”
