The City of Arlington called upon Dunaway’s civil engineering team to design and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for 18,500 feet of 42-inch diameter Ductile-Iron-Pipe (DIP) water transmission line and appurtenances through fully developed neighborhoods within the City. The project included the preparation of alignment alternatives and recommendations with consideration for future thoroughfare expansions. In addition, Dunaway coordinated with various franchise utilities to accommodate the proposed location of the water line in the existing City of Arlington right-of-way.
