This custom home, located in the prestigious Memorial Villages of Houston, is a modern two-story residence with an open living concept. The property spans 18,469 square feet, with the home itself offering 7,076 square feet of total living area. Dunaway provided both structural and civil engineering services for the entire home, addressing unique challenges such as low-profile roofs and cantilevered conditions. These features required additional steel reinforcing at the front entry, rear porch, and the second-floor game room balcony. The project aimed to deliver structural engineering solutions that align with modern home living, ensuring seamless integration with civil engineering and construction services throughout the build.
