Dunaway provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for new dormitories and a dining hall on TCU’s east campus, creating inviting outdoor spaces such as a great lawn, tree-shaded seating areas, dining courtyards, and green spaces behind the dorms. The planting design complements the campus aesthetic with evergreen foundations, accent plants, shade trees, and natural turf.
To maintain budget and quality, Dunaway actively participated in value engineering, performed rigorous quality control reviews, and collaborated on cost estimates throughout the process. The team adhered to a strict schedule and addressed challenges such as winter planting by ensuring warranty replacements, fostering transparency and trust among all stakeholders.
