Tin Man Park

Dunaway is working with the Town of Little Elm on The Lawn at Lakefront (Tin Man Park). Dunaway provided planning + landscape architecture, structural engineering, and civil engineering services on the project that is destined to become a central park at the heart of the district and is poised to become a vital part of the community.

Adjacent residential, retail businesses, and the Tin Man entertainment venue provide an active backdrop to the park’s grand lawn, and performance pavilion, in addition to a signature playground that features water play and a passive shaded grove. The design incorporates mature trees, a pedestrian neighborhood connection, interactive lighting displays, and unique architectural features that honor the adjacent historic “Tin Man” water tower.
