This project is located at Austin Energy’s existing chilled water facility at 3120 Kramer Lane, within the Domain development. Austin Energy proposed the addition of a thermal energy (chilled water) storage tank and a compact platform to accommodate new chilled water pumps. Installation of the tank required the relocation of an existing storm sewer and site water line.
Dunaway led the site planning efforts, which included the layout of the thermal energy storage tank, pumping facilities, and chilled water lines. The team was responsible for site permitting for the tank and building expansion, as well as coordination and partial relocation of existing utilities.
