Kyra Delgado is a Graduate Civil Engineer in Dunaway’s Fort Worth office. While interning at Dunaway during her studies at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated with honors, Kyra impressed the team with her sharp mind and dedication. Now, she works on permitting processes for multifamily projects, streamlining workflows and reducing project timelines. Kyra’s passion for sustainable design and keen eye for detail are invaluable assets to the team, and she’s constantly seeking new challenges to expand her skillset and contribute to Dunaway’s continued success.

Why did you choose this career?
Civil engineering is a critical aspect of building our environment. I chose a career in land development so I could be a part of making communities come alive.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I've always enjoyed running and in the past few years have become passionate about hiking.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
My favorite place in the world is wherever my dog is!
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
The best gift I've ever received was my first hiking trip with my family to Sedona and the Grand Canyon.
What was your first job?
My first job was an assistant Taekwondo instructor.
