Daniel Ramos is a passionate IT professional with a natural affinity for technology. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, Daniel also possesses certifications in Security+ and Network+. Prior to joining Dunaway, Daniel served as an IT technician at Tarrant County College, providing comprehensive support to faculty and staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and software. Currently, Daniel is responsible for onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account creation, license management, device setup, and IT orientation. Additionally, Daniel handles incoming tickets and resolves any issues that arise in the Fort Worth office. With proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, as well as a solid understanding of programming languages like C++ and Python, Daniel is well-equipped to troubleshoot issues across various departments and lines of business.

Why did you choose this career?
I chose an IT career because I was fascinated with technology and its ever-evolving nature. I've always enjoyed problem-solving and found it rewarding to tackle technical challenges. IT offers a dynamic and constantly changing environment, which keeps me engaged and motivated.
What Core Value resonates with you the most?
As someone who is often in a support role, I identify most with attitude of service. Working in IT isn't just about technical skills, it's about putting the needs and interests of others before your own and focusing on assisting and supporting them to the best of your ability.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I love playing my trombone! I taught lessons for many years which is also really rewarding. I love gaming on PC, PC building, home networking, and going to the gym to run and lift after a long day.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Probably up in the Rocky mountains of Colorado, it's so refreshing up there.
What was your first job?
My first job was a summer job at the local Walmart, I actually really enjoyed it and was able to save up to get my first car by the end.
