Why did you choose this career?
It combines my love for the outdoors with my love for science and communities. I can create spaces that can change people's lives or perspectives on the world around them.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
In my spare time, I love to go exploring by either walking, fishing, hiking, off-roading, or going to social events to meet new people.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Favorite place is right before you get into Valdez, Alaska. It is filled mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and a beautiful river that runs along the road.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
Nasa flight jacket with my favorite mission badges on it.
What was your first job?
Cattle ranching.
