Carolina Osegueda is a Graduate Engineer at Dunaway’s Fort Worth office. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, Carolina’s passion for structural engineering was influenced by a family of engineers and architects. This background naturally led to a career where she finds joy in creating spaces that enhance daily interactions with buildings. Prior to joining Dunaway, Carolina gained valuable experience working for a structural engineering firm in Dallas, specializing in K-12 projects, and briefly for another firm focusing on light industrial, K-12, and commercial sectors. In her current role, she assists the Project Engineer/Manager in the analysis and design of structural systems, collaborating with the design team and other disciplines to produce high-quality designs. Carolina has extensive experience in K-12 and commercial sectors and is proficient in using software such as RAM Structural System, RAM Connection, RISA 3D, and Enercalc.

Why did you choose this career?
I have always been fascinated by building structures ever since I was a young child. Two of my grandparents were architects and my father is an engineer. I found an even bigger passion for structures during my studies, and ultimately chose this career path.
