Emily Fanning is a dedicated Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Dunaway’s Fort Worth office. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management and a minor in Human Resources from the University of Texas at Dallas, Emily has always had a passion for working with people—especially college students. Her professional journey includes roles as a Recruiting and HR Coordinator Marketing Manager.

Why did you choose this career?
I chose this career in recruiting and HR because I love helping others find the place that is the best fit for them and getting to watch then grow within a company. It is easy to pick a job based on perks but I want to be able to help others see their full potential and pick a career and company that is going to serve them best.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
In my spare time I like to enjoy anything that is outdoors. I grew up playing competitive lacrosse through college so I love a good competition and being out in the sunshine whenever I can. I do not currently have any interesting hobbies but I would love to try needlepointing.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
The best gift I have received is my daughter. She is such a bundle of joy and laughter!
What makes you laugh the most?
My family! My husband and daughter are two of the goofiest people I know. There is never a dull moment in our home.
What Core Value resonates with you the most?
I identify with honesty and integrity. Having worked in the recruiting and HR field I think it is important for people to be able to know that they can trust those they are working alongside with sensitive information and to be transparent with them. I also think its important to strive for a positive attitude of service being that you may be the first face that people meet in the company and always want them to have a positive experience.
