Dunaway is pleased to announce the acquisition of PRD Land Development Services, LLC, an established and innovative civil engineering firm in Houston, Texas. The acquisition will strengthen Dunaway’s civil engineering services and expand its footprint in Houston and the Gulf Coast region. 

Growth in the Gulf Coast

Chief Operating Officer and Principal of Dunaway, Ross Eubanks, PE, SE, will lead the transition alongside Trent Perez, PE, Owner, and Founder of PRD. Eubanks previously served as Regional Executive for Central Texas, responsible for the growth and business operations of Dunaway’s Austin and San Antonio offices, before spearheading the opening of Dunaway’s Houston office in 2023. He is excited to continue to expand the firm’s presence in the Houston area. “We are thrilled to join forces with PRD as we continue to expand our multi-discipline firm to serve our clients in the Houston market with technical excellence,” explains Ross. “PRD has built a business on trust, experience, and proven success, and shares our vision and values as trusted client advisors. PRD's History

A US Army veteran, Trent served two terms as a City Council member for the City of Pearland and practiced as a civil engineer before opening PRD’s doors in 2015. As a council member, Perez enhanced ethical standards and championed new roadway and drainage projects for the city, new fire stations, and a neighborhood library. With a strong background in engineering and a deep commitment to the people of Brazoria County, Perez remains an instrumental figure in driving progress and positive change in the region, as well as within PRD, where the firm specializes in civil engineering design for both public and private clients.

PRD’s portfolio includes several notable Houston entities – including every new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in the region, larger scale industrial and commercial projects, as well as private and public educational facilities throughout the metropolitan area. “For the past decade, PRD’s mission has been to offer the best possible design, informed by unmatched technical understanding while building strong relationships and attending to the needs of our clients, I feel confident that Dunaway shares the same vision,” explains Perez. “I am excited to become part of the Dunaway family and to leverage their resources and expertise to offer our clients a broader range of services and solutions.”
