Q+A
Why did you choose this career?
I love people and my community and urban planning allows me to interact with both. Whether it is through public engagement or writing city plans I love being a part of the process of building a better community.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I love staying active. I enjoy yoga and paddle boarding and sometime I like to combine the two, however, if often ends with me falling into the water.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
My favorite place is my family’s ranch out near Marfa, TX. I have so many fond memories hunting and hiking the old cattle trails with my grandparents.
Do you have a favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I mean who doesn’t love a holiday centered around food? More importantly though I love being surrounded by my family and sharing what we have to be grateful for over the past year.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
The best gift I’ve received is my first car. I love my RAV4 who I have affectionately named Shelby. She gave me independence and has been getting me from point A to point B ever since.
