Brett Naughton, EIT
Graduate Engineer
Brett Naughton graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He honed his skills while interning at Dunaway’s Fort Worth office, and upon graduation, joined the Austin team full-time. Now, as a Graduate Engineer, he plays a key role in designing complex civil infrastructure, including drainage systems for a recent multi-family housing project. Brett’s passion for sustainable design motivates him to find innovative solutions that benefit both communities and the environment. He’s excited to continue learning and growing as he contributes to Dunaway’s continued success.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I love to workout, run, and just be outside. I also enjoy drawing, especially in pencil.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Zion National Park.
Do you have a favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is Christmas because I love cooler weather and all the beautiful lights and decorations.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
My two cats!
Why did you choose this career?
I originally wanted to do art or architecture, but decided I liked carrying out the engineering portion of projects more than the artistic side.
