Graduate Engineer
Javier is a Graduate Engineer at Dunaway’s Dallas office, where he pursued a career to witness and contribute to creative designs coming to fruition for clients. Javier graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering. He has engineering experience in utility design, site investigation reports, project exhibits, and site planning. In his current role, Javier assists the project team in developing and designing basic paving, drainage, grading, water, and sanitary sewer infrastructure, including plans, specifications, and cost opinions. Javier is proficient in using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Revit, and Bluebeam.

I chose this career because I love the design and creative aspects of solving complex problems as part of a team.
What Core Value resonates with you the most?
The core value that I identified the most with would be "Attitude of Service," since helping people with a positive attitude always brings me joy and helps establish working relationships.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
It would have to be a PS5, since I waited ages to get one.
Do you have a favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is Christmas because I get to relax and enjoy some time with my family.
