Why did you choose this career?
Like many AEC marketers, I fell into this industry by accident and never looked back! I love the opportunity to apply my varied marketing experience and education in a unique way that helps me feel connected to my local community.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I love to bake! My current goals include practicing my cookie decorating skills and learning the art and science of sourdough. I also love to travel and explore new places with my husband, Jake.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
In the mountains—preferably in the Pacific Northwest, but I don’t discriminate. I love escaping the activity of the city to breathe the fresh air, smell the pine trees, and enjoy the quiet. There’s a special zen to be found in the satisfaction of taking in the view at the top of a good hike.
Do you have a favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving is my favorite meal of the year and a great excuse to bake a lot of pies! I also love autumn and the early excitement of the holiday season as we hang lights and set up the Christmas tree.
What Core Value resonates with you the most?
Responsiveness. Communication is key to any relationship—personal or professional—and practicing responsiveness internally and with our clients shows respect while also increasing efficiency.
