Q+A
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I like driving fast! I don’t race but grew up in a racing family. I own a Harley and have a 2007 Shelby GT 350 right now, which are both pretty quick.
Why did you choose this career?
I was looking for a career that combined my love for drawing and skills in mathematics. Initially, I thought I would pursue architecture but found out about landscape architecture when I was applying to college. I pursued TAMU’s BLA and study abroad programs, but sadly the study abroad portion was completely derailed by the pandemic.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
My grandma’s old record player. It’s only from the 90’s, but it started an obsession with collecting records.
What's the best piece of advice you have ever recieved?
Take advantage of being an emerging professional. Ask questions you normally might be too embarrassed to because you feel like you should already know.
