The City of Frisco sought to expand the capacity of Coit Road to accommodate current traffic and future growth. Dunaway provided a topographic site survey, roadway design, traffic signal revisions, and TxDOT permitting on the project which includes the southbound lanes of a four-lane arterial from U.S. 380 to Rockhill Parkway, as well as provisions for the addition of two future lanes, associated storm drainage, and a 16-inch water line.
This project also included a landscape and irrigation plan for this section of road and one mile to the south. The acquisition of six parcels for permanent right-of-way were allocated, as well as temporary easements for an additional six parcels.
