Dunaway supported the transformation of the Fort Worth Convention Center district by providing civil engineering, surveying, and traffic planning services that helped create a more welcoming, walkable, and connected downtown experience. Centered on improvements along Commerce Street, the completed project reimagined how residents, visitors, and convention‑goers move through the area—prioritizing pedestrian safety, comfort, and a stronger sense of place at a key entry point into downtown Fort Worth.
Delivered through a phased approach, the project allowed the Convention Center to remain fully operational while setting the stage for future growth, including new development opportunities and improved access to surrounding destinations. Through thoughtful planning and coordination, Dunaway’s work strengthened economic vitality, enhanced the public realm, and helped position downtown Fort Worth as an accessible, people‑focused destination for years to come.
