Dunaway worked closely with the City of Denton on the G. Roland Vela Soccer Complex on the north side of North Lakes Park. The team involved the creative collaboration of landscape architects and engineers. Designed to become Denton’s premier soccer and field sports facility, the G. Roland Vela Complex provides high- quality enjoyment for players and spectators alike.
The new complex includes four adult soccer/rugby fields, a centrally located restroom/concession building, a large children’s play area, a variety of pavilions, and ample parking for large events. The facility will allow for flexible programs from league play to high profile tournaments.
