Gertie Barrett Park

Having previously worked with the City on major park projects, the Dunaway team enjoyed designing this new neighborhood park nestled within the beautiful wooded site. The mix of recreation includes a playground, splash pad, pavilions, and a trail loop. Seasonal enjoyment will include park visitors seeing the changing characteristics of Pittman Creek that meanders through the site. This team included civil and structural, as well as hydraulics/ hydrology engineers who studied Pittman Creek to ensure zero impact upstream/downstream.
