Why did you choose this career?
I chose to be a traffic engineer because it allows me to make a direct impact on the public as nearly everyone whether a pedestrian, bicyclist, bus or driver uses traffic infrastructure in their daily lives. As I say, it is like playing real life legos, where you can make it better for everyone.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I love model railroads and like to work on the one in my home office in my free time. If you are ever on a call with me, I am more than happy to show it to you. I also love soduku and crosswords.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
The Philippines. In the last 20 years I have been 14 times.
Do you have a favorite holiday?
Veterans Day. As a veteran I get to eat free and I usually (when it is not cancelled due to
weather) get to be in the Dallas Veterans Parade. God bless America.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
That's a tough one, but I would say I got a personalized wallet from my wife and it goes wherever I go.
