Q+A

Why did you choose this career?

I love the outdoors, math, science, and history. Surveying was the only profession to check all of those boxes while having the career growth opportunities I was looking for.

Where is your favorite place in the world?

Anywhere with mountains and a hiking path. My wife and I try to travel once a year to explore somewhere new with mountains.

What was your first job?

I worked on my grandfather's family ranch every summer as a kid. My first real job was right after high school as a rod man for a survey firm.

What makes you laugh the most?

A good dad joke always gets me.
