As we continue to build on our Fort Worth foundation, we are pleased to welcome Shannon C. Bearden, AIA, RID, NCARB, LEED, as the newest addition to our North Texas team. We believe that the addition of Shannon is impactful, not only to Dunaway but to the Fort Worth community.
We are excited to welcome Shannon C. Bearden as a Vice President and Associate Principal in our Fort Worth office. Shannon brings over 20 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-impact projects. Named one of Fort Worth’s 500 Most Influential People in 2025, in addition to being a recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 and ENR’s (Engineering News Record) Top 20 Under 40, as well as the Fort Worth Business Press Top 40 Under 40.
Shannon also brings extensive expertise in commercial, education, and master planning.

In her new role, Shannon will continue to lead similar initiatives and support city-led growth efforts across the region. She will leverage that experience to drive Dunaway’s continued growth and oversee the successful delivery of large-scale projects throughout North Texas, serving as a strategic partner to key clients. Her deep ties to Fort Worth – through active involvement with the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth and Downtown Fort Worth Inc. – further strengthen her ability to connect vision with execution.
