Midland High School is part of a transformative initiative in Midland ISD, made possible by a historic $1.4 billion bond passed in 2023. The new campus will span approximately 660,000 to 680,000 square feet and is designed to serve up to 4,200 students in grades nine through twelve. Featuring modern classrooms, expansive common areas, and comprehensive sports facilities, the school will address overcrowding and aging infrastructure. Dunaway, in partnership with Pfluger Architects and Parkhill, is providing civil and structural engineering as well as land surveying services, ensuring the campus is equipped with advanced utility systems and stormwater management tailored for West Texas conditions. The facility is scheduled to open in August 2028, setting a new standard for educational excellence in Midland.
