Dunaway is providing structural engineering services for Legacy Ranch High School, a cutting-edge educational facility covering 454,000 square feet. The campus will include a three-story classroom wing, an auditorium with a flyloft and elevated seating over classrooms, and an athletics area with two practice gyms on the second floor. The third level of the gym will feature a pressbox cantilevered over the bleachers. The football stadium will be uniquely built into the hill, offering views from both the bleachers cast into the hill and the open-air patio of the cafeteria. The structure will be composed of composite steel floors and roof joists.
This new high school for Liberty Hill ISD will accommodate 9th-12th grade students, with a capacity of 1,000 to 1,200 students. With its modern design, advanced facilities, and commitment to sustainability, Legacy Ranch High School will provide students with a vibrant and inclusive learning environment, preparing them for future success while nurturing their intellectual, social, and physical development.
