From its historic roots as a charitable hospital for newborns to its evolution into a leading pediatric healthcare system, CCMC has consistently relied on Dunaway’s expertise in civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying to guide numerous expansion and renovation efforts. These include projects at the main Fort Worth campus and community clinics throughout Tarrant County, reflecting a shared commitment to thoughtful, impactful design.

Happy Heart Sculpture Garden: As a complement to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, the garden is designed to offer dynamic views from patient rooms and give visitors an outdoor respite for a breath of fresh air. View this project.
Dodson Expansion: The project consists of roughly 240,000 square feet of additional medical office space located directly to the west of the existing Dodson Specialty Clinic. View this project.
Dillard Family Garden: Adjacent to the main entry and roundabout, the garden is one of CCMC’s larger outdoor green spaces for visiting families and employees seeking downtime. View this project.
Rosedale Office and Parking Garage: Dunaway was responsible for land surveying services for the construction of a 125,000-square-foot professional office building and six-story parking garage. View this project.
Founder’s Garden: Dunaway brightened up this unique outdoor space, which features custom artwork, colorful signage, and paving patterns that mimic a tree’s root system, all to honor significant figures throughout the hospital’s history. View this project.
