Why did you choose this career?
I liked the idea of designing the structure of a building and having it withstand different events.
What Core Value resonates with you the most?
I identify the most with the value of Integrity. I believe that I have strong moral principles and consistency regardless of the situation.
What has been your favorite project to work on during your career?
My favorite project was 601 South Main. Through collaboration with BBP, we were able to design a unique industrial office building. The exposed brick references a historic feel while the exposed steel braces and metal canopies reflect the modern office environment.
Do you have a favorite holiday?
There are many reasons why Christmas is my favorite holiday. First, it’s a family holiday. Family is the most important thing to me and Christmas is the perfect holiday to bring everyone together. Second, the holiday spirit spreads like a wildfire. There is something about being around family, seeing decorations, and being home that makes people happy.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
My favorite place in the world would be the Texas coast. It’s a tradition each summer to visit a different beach on the coast of Texas with my family.
What's the best piece of advice you have ever recieved?
The golden rule - treat others the way you want to be treated.
