Edgar Gonzalez is a Graduate Engineer at Dunaway’s Fort Worth office, where his passion for civil engineering is channeled into land development, a field he fell in love with during his senior college project under the mentorship of Chris Biggers. With a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Edgar’s first professional experience comes after years of remodeling houses with his father, equipping him with a strong work ethic and practical skills. Now in his second week with the civil private group, Edgar’s proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, honed over three and two years respectively, positions him as a promising and valuable asset to the team.

Why did you choose this career?
My dad is an engineer, so I've always had it in mind as a career. When I did my senior project in college for my civil engineer degree, that's when I realized I enjoyed land development.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I like playing soccer, working out, and watching shows!
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Guadalajara, Mexico. That is where most of my family lives and it has some of my favorite food and weather.
What was your first job?
I worked for my dad remodeling homes in the metroplex.
