Grant Scott is a Survey Field Assistant in Dunaway’s office in Austin. He has over a decade of experience in utilities and communications and is working toward becoming an RPLS. He enjoys being in nature and working with the elements, which motivated him to have a career in surveying.

What Core Value resonates with you the most?
Attitude of Service. I get a sense of accomplishment and meaning by providing for my community. Civil service runs in my family. My grandfather was a Civil Engineer working for the State of Alabama for 50 years.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I like playing guitar, indoor bouldering, and traditional archery.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
The top of Mount la Conte either at sunrise or at night so you can see the heavens. Mount la Conte is located in the heart of the great smokey mountains.
What makes you laugh the most?
A perfectly timed joke.
