Sr. Discipline Lead
Jason Granado is a Senior Discipline Lead in the Civil Engineering department at Dunaway’s San Antonio office, bringing nearly two decades of experience in delivering impactful public infrastructure across Texas. Driven by a passion to enhance community connectivity and mobility, Jason has led projects ranging from safer roadways to accessible pedestrian facilities. Prior to joining Dunaway, he worked extensively with agencies such as TxDOT, the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, SAWS, VIA, and others, including major infrastructure efforts with the Tarrant Regional Water District and the City of Houston. At Dunaway, Jason is focused on expanding the firm’s Public Works and Transportation practice in the San Antonio region. His technical expertise spans the full PS&E lifecycle, including roadway and pedestrian design, ADA compliance, stormwater systems, hydraulic analysis, traffic control, SW3P, and water/wastewater infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on agency coordination and streamlined project delivery.

What was your first job?
I was a bagger at HEB in high school.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I like to play golf in my spare time and go to the gym. I am an active parent in the lives of my children and like to spend time with my wife and kids. I am a huge Spurs fan and Dallas Cowboys fan (it's always our year!).
What makes you laugh the most?
I would say random quick witted comments.
