Katherine is a skilled Project Engineer with our civil group. Earning her professional license in 2019, she has provided civil design on many notable healthcare, municipal, and cultural projects including Cook Children’s Medical Center, TCU, The Fort Worth Zoo, and Como Community Center.

What Core Value resonates with you the most?

I identify most with integrity. I believe as civil engineers our duty, above all else, is to protect the public and without integrity that’s not possible.

What has been your favorite project to work on during your career?

I loved working on the Fort Worth Zoo African Savanna when I first started at Dunaway. The collaborative environment, learning so many new things, and getting to visit the zoo for work made it a joy to work on.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I enjoy gardening , canoeing, hiking, and really anything outside.

What makes you laugh the most?

My daughter makes me laugh the most. It seems like every day she says something to catch me off guard.

What is the most daring thing you've ever done?

Commit to getting a degree in engineering when I was already over 30.
