Why did you choose this career?
Engineering always appealed to me when I was in college. I was also lucky enough to work at an engineering firm that confirmed that this industry was right for me. I enjoy the problem-solving, creativity, and math needed for structural engineering.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any interesting hobbies?
I love to play with my seven-year-old son. I also sing and play guitar in a cover band for fun!
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
I received a Paul Reed Smith semi-hollow guitar for my birthday about two years ago. It had always been a dream guitar of mine and a few family members got together and bought it for me.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Wherever me, my wife, and my son are.
What was your first job?
I worked at Boondocks Food & Fun in Northglenn, Colorado. I would clean up or monitor arcades, putt-putt golf, go-karts, bumper boats, etc.
