Stephen Bontempo, PE is a highly respected structural engineer and quality assurance leader with over 31 years of experience in bridge inspection and engineering services. As the founder of Bontempo Structural Engineering and now Vice President of Dunaway, Stephen has managed nine consecutive TxDOT routine bridge inspection contracts since 2005, overseeing the inspection of more than 25,500 bridges across 60 work authorizations.
