Dunaway partnered with the Town of Little Elm to develop a visionary master plan for the 162-acre Cottonwood Park along Lake Lewisville. The comprehensive planning process included site analysis, programming, benchmarking, conceptual design, and a community engagement meeting to ensure alignment with local needs. The master plan introduces a diverse mix of amenities such as RV and camping sites, rental cabins, day-use areas, a general store, restrooms and showers, roads and parking, fishing piers, a swimming beach, pavilions, picnic areas, and an interconnected trail system. Additionally, Dunaway provided detailed cost projections to support the Town’s budgeting efforts and pursuit of grant funding, ensuring a clear roadmap for phased implementation and long-term success.
