Spreetail Office

Through collaborations with Perkins + Will and the City of Austin, Dunaway’s structural team transformed a 1920s building into a modern office space for Spreetail, a national e-commerce company. Located in downtown Austin, the existing building shell was preserved as much as possible to blend the structure’s old charm with modern workplace amenities. Our team worked with the City to raise an existing mezzanine, bringing it up to code. To meet our client’s design, we also incorporated the existing structure to hang hammocks in the library, creating a unique, airy space reflective of the company’s culture and values.
