Dunaway provided civil engineering design services for Pflugerville ISD’s new 23rd elementary school within the Hidden Lakes subdivision. The new 116,000 square foot, two-story, school was built on a 25-acre site. The school was designed to accommodate approximately 900 students and includes Pre-K to 5th grade classrooms, specialty learning spaces, an outdoor covered basketball court, and support spaces for administration, counseling, and food service. Dunaway performed professional design services to prepare construction documents, including civil site design, parking lots, accessible sidewalks and site paving, site grading, storm water conveyance and on-site detention, water, fire and wastewater utilities.

Additionally, Dunaway designed and prepared construction documents for public infrastructure improvements adjacent to the site including 1,200 linear feet of major boulevard, 800 linear feet of minor collector, 1,200 linear feet of 12-inch water line, 800 linear feet of 8-inch water line, and 200 linear feet of 8-inch wastewater and underground storm sewer for  the street drainage conveyance.
